Even though the first two story-based DLCs for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla have yet to release, the third DLC leaks and may have big implications.
Right now, alongside some seasonal content, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s season pass lists two major DLCs: The Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. The former will see players travel to Ireland and face off with one of the world’s many cults, while the second will be dealing with the Vikings in Francia. Both are equally exciting and likely to move the story forward, as with Assassin’s Creed Odyssey‘s DLC.
However, both of them do seem relatively mild compared to the adventures AC Odyssey‘s Kassandra/Alexios went on with the Greek gods. It may be that they build up to a big third arc, as many stories and even Assassin’s Creed often do, and the recent leak of a third DLC may just point at that.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLC 3: Meteor
By digging through the game’s code, YouTuber j0nathan has seemingly discovered a third major DLC. It’s worth noting that this particular leaker has been incredibly accurate lately, and the source of the leak being the game’s code itself is rather promising. In the past, j0nathan had leaked Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s release date accurately (prior to it being moved up a week). More recently, he leaked some of the achievements, forthcoming weapons, and more for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla DLCs that were more or less confirmed shortly thereafter.
Not much is uncovered unfortunately. In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s code, there’s something listed as DLC_EXP3_Meteor, following the same patterns as the Ireland and Francia DLCs listed there. This itself begs a ton of questions: is it part of the current season pass that’s being kept secret, is it premium DLC slated after the season pass, will it actually make it into the game or is it cut content, and more. Just because it’s here doesn’t mean it’ll ever make it into the game, but it is a solid indication that it did exist in some capacity at some point, perhaps even as a future DLC. Sadly, it’s likely that answers are far away, but it’s almost certain the DLC isn’t just “Meteor.” After all, the code lists two settings, not DLC names, and that itself has big implications.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Catastrophe Inbound?
Following the aforementioned pattern down the speculative rabbit hole, it’s unlikely that a “meteor” is the actual setting. Instead, it may imply some sort of catastrophe or disaster, which as fans know, is basically the entire idea behind the modern-day storyline. As implied by the modern ending in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, another, bigger catastrophe is on the way. As those characters search the various timelines to find a way to end this, there are certainly destructive elements at play in the modern story.
In avoiding spoilers, it would seemingly imply that the third DLC would be about yet another catastrophe. It could be that the location is something more mystical, leaning into the mythological elements of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. As Odyssey took players to a simulation of Atlantis and Hades, this may take players to something more mystical as a way to move the story forward. It could be that it’s to wrap the new elements introduced in AC Valhalla, thus bringing the latest story to an end, but that remains to be seen. Overall, the idea of a “Meteor” DLC implies some doomsday element which could really pay off on a lot that comes at the end.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now for PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
